When beginning the transformation of Aquatopia, I searched for inspiration in a lot of places. Children’s books, Nickelodeon, art movements and even interviews with some pre-schoolers. In the end, no one specific thing was the whole package I was looking for, so I took elements from all of my sources. I created nine vignettes, each a different scene from Aquatopialand–a world created in the dream of an imaginative six year old.
